Algeria’s presidential election: Voting begins abroad

Voting in Algeria’s presidential elections began today, Monday, outside the country, as voters head to the polls to choose a new president from among three candidates, while voting will take place at home on September 7.

The Algerian News Agency reported, citing the Independent National Electoral Commission, that the number of voters abroad is 865,490, while the total number of voters is 24 million.
