Nine people have been killed and more than 20 others injured in a car bomb attack on a crowded cafe in the Somali capital Mogadishu, local media reported, citing Somali police.

Some citizens were watching the Euro 2024 final between Spain and England inside the cafe when the car bomb exploded outside, Somali police spokesman Abdifatah Aden Hassan told reporters, adding that more than 20 other people were injured in the attack.
