Hezbollah announced on Tuesday that it had attacked several military positions in northern Israel, including one in Acre, causing casualties among soldiers.
In a series of statements, the group said it had launched an air attack with a swarm of “swooping” drones, targeting the Golani Brigade headquarters and the headquarters of the Egoz 621 unit in the “Sharaqa” barracks north of Acre.
The statement added that the drones “hit their targets with great accuracy, causing some casualties”.
Israeli media reported that one Israeli was killed and others injured in drone attacks by Lebanese Hezbollah on Tuesday against targets in northern Israel, including an army camp, while explosions were heard in the city of Haifa.
Since 8 October, Lebanese and Palestinian factions in Lebanon, led by Hezbollah, have been exchanging daily shelling with the Israeli army across the Blue Line, resulting in hundreds of deaths and injuries, mostly on the Lebanese side.
