The Philippines announced on Thursday that 23 people have died as a result of three tropical cyclones, Verde, Guinevere and Helene, which struck the country.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) issued a statement on the three typhoons, according to the Philippine News Agency.
The council said 23 people died, 13 were injured and 15 were still missing as a result of the typhoons.
Nearly one million people have been affected by the three typhoons and 63,000 people have been evacuated.
