The Algerian government has filed a lawsuit at the Paris court against French Rokonkat MEP Sarah Knafo.

According to the Algerian News Agency (ANSA), the Algerian state has filed a complaint with the Paris court against Sarah Knafo, a member of the European Parliament (MEP) for the Rokonkat party in the European Parliament.

The APS did not explicitly mention the reason for the complaint, but Knafo said a few days ago that the French government had given Algeria 800 million euros in development aid when she raised the issue of the French budget deficit and what she called unnecessary public spending.
