The Algerian army eliminated two terrorists and arrested 12 elements supporting terrorist groups in separate operations last week.

During these operations, the army seized a number of weapons and other items belonging to the terrorists, the Algerian Ministry of Defence said in a statement today.

The statement added that the army forces arrested more than 237 smugglers, seized vehicles and equipment used for smuggling and arrested 464 illegal immigrants of various nationalities.
