Tunisia’s Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) announced on Friday that all polling stations abroad had opened to receive voters in the presidential election.
After the opening of all polling stations in East Asian countries at the legal time (Australia, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia and others), all polling stations in European countries were opened at the legal time,’ the commission said in a statement.

Bouasker, the head of the electoral commission, noted that presidential elections are being held in 59 countries around the world, including 10 countries where presidential elections are being held for the first time since 2011, while the number of polling stations has reached 400.
