The fourth edition of Turkey’s leading international defence and aerospace exhibition, Saha Expo, kicked off in Istanbul on Tuesday, attracting more than 300 delegations from 120 countries and 1,400 companies, according to the exhibition’s official website.
The event will showcase many high-tech products of strategic importance in the defence, aerospace, marine and space industries, the website said, noting that it will witness more than 300 product launches.
The number of exhibitors at the biennial event has increased by 112 per cent compared to the previous edition in 2022, it added.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Saha Istanbul chairman Haluk Bayraktar said contracts worth $6.2 billion would be signed.
