Suicide bombing kills 6 people in northwest Pakistan

Six people have been killed and several others injured in a suicide bombing in the North Waziristan region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in the north-west of the country, Pakistani police said today, Saturday.

The police added – according to Pakistan’s Geo News – that the blast targeted a police station in the Idak area of Mir Ali town, noting that four of its members were among the dead.

The channel said the injured had been taken to hospital for treatment, while security forces cordoned off the area after the blast.
