At least 32 people have been killed in fresh sectarian violence in northwest Pakistan, a local official told AFP on Saturday, two days after attacks on Shia civilians left 43 dead.

The violence in Kurram, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on the border with Afghanistan, has killed around 150 people since the summer.
