Egyptian media reported on Friday that 117 humanitarian aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip through the Zikim crossing in the north and the Kerem Shalom crossing in the south.
An Egyptian source earlier confirmed that the entry of aid trucks into the besieged enclave continued for a second consecutive day via both crossings.
According to the source, a total of 161 trucks had entered Gaza between Thursday morning and early Friday, carrying supplies including flour, infant formula, and other essential food items.
The deliveries come as Gaza faces an unprecedented humanitarian crisis. UN agencies continue to warn of an imminent famine and a sharp rise in deaths due to malnutrition, particularly among children, patients, and people with disabilities.
