Medical sources in Gaza reported Monday that 20 Palestinians were martyred, including five journalists and several paramedics and civil defense workers, after the Israeli occupation bombed the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA confirmed the journalists killed as Hossam al-Masri (Reuters), Mohammed Salama (Al Jazeera), Mariam Abu Deqqa (Independent Arabia & AP), Moaz Abu Taha (NBC), and Ahmed Abu Aziz, who succumbed to his wounds.
The attack occurred as medical and press teams were performing their humanitarian duty, saving lives and documenting war crimes committed by the occupation.
