The Libyan Parliament Calls for Halting Oil and Gas Exports to Israel-Supporting Countries

Amid significant regional and international attention to the ongoing conflict in Gaza, the Libyan House of Representatives called today for the immediate departure of the ambassadors of countries supporting Israel from Libya. They also urged the suspension of oil and gas exports to nations endorsing Israel if the massacres in the region persist.

In the same context, the Libyan Parliament stated in its release that Gaza is undergoing a campaign of genocide led by the United States and the West against a besieged and isolated population. They declared their rejection of any forced displacement of Gaza’s residents in any form.

The statement also condemned the events in Gaza and called for an urgent leadership-level session of the Arab League and Islamic organizations. It emphasized the necessity of holding an emergency session for the United Nations General Assembly.
