The Organization of Islamic Cooperation calls for an extraordinary summit to discuss the Israeli aggression against the Palestinians

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation announced on Monday, its intention to convene an emergency Islamic summit in the capital city of Riyadh. This decision comes in response to an invitation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which currently holds the presidency of the Islamic summit.

The organization, in its statement, emphasized that this summit will be held next Sunday, on November 12th of the current month, with the aim of discussing ways to address the military escalation and violence in the Gaza Strip.

For a full month now, Israeli forces have continued to carry out intensive air, ground, and naval attacks on Gaza. These attacks have resulted in the death of more than 10,000 people, most of them children, and have caused the destruction of hospitals, healthcare facilities, schools, and even targeted United Nations premises that host thousands of displaced individuals.
