The Red Sea Film Festival management has revealed that it will showcase 19 films in the “New Saudi Cinema” program as part of the third edition of the festival scheduled to take place from November 30 to December 9 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The program reflects the festival’s commitment to supporting Saudi filmmakers, empowering future generations, and enhancing opportunities for more success by providing a platform to showcase the creative works of film producers.
This year’s program celebrates Saudi cinema in all its categories, honoring the achievements of the film industry over the past five years, according to the festival statement.
The 19 films cover a wide range of topics, addressing issues related to countering extremism, social adaptation, and overcoming personal conflicts.
