The US actors union Sag-Aftra has formally endorsed its contract with Hollywood studios, a month after reaching a provisional agreement.

Even though actors have already returned to work, the formal approval marks the official end to the strike that began on July 14.

Actors have gained $1 billion in new compensation and benefits, along with protections against the studios’ use of AI.
