The Sudanese army launched another attack on the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on Monday. Drones and artillery shells were fired at different points in the Manshiya neighborhood east of Khartoum, the Al-Sahafa neighborhood, the Sports City neighborhood, and the camp area south of Khartoum.
Additionally, strong columns of smoke were seen rising from several neighborhoods in Khartoum.
In a similar fashion, the Rapid Support Forces struck back, rocking civilian buildings from their positions east of Khartoum and firing numerous heavy artillery shells towards military installations in Bahri and Omdurman. There has been new fighting between the army and the Rapid Support Forces, according to witnesses in Sennar province’s northern region in the southeast of the country.
