On Tuesday, the Iraqi government denounced the American strike on Iraqi military installations, which left one person dead and eighteen injured. The Pentagon, the U.S. Department of Defense, reports that American forces launched airstrikes against Hezbollah-affiliated sites in Iraq on Monday.
This was done as a reaction to an earlier insurgent suicide drone strike that left three US soldiers with various degrees of serious injuries.

The Iraqi government released a statement in which it claimed that the U.S. strike on Iraqi military installations on Tuesday under the guise of reprisal was an aggressive move that did not serve the shared objectives of both nations in building security and stability.
