Sergey Lavrov, the foreign minister of Russia, pushed for an end to the injustices suffered by the Palestinian people during their conflict with Israel.

In a special interview with TASS, Lavrov denounced the use of collective punishment techniques that go against international humanitarian law and the justification of terrorist acts.

He underlined the necessity of breaking the cycle of injustice and violence experienced by Palestinians, saying that this is the only way to bring about Middle East stability.
