Nicolas Maduro, the president of Venezuela, declared today that an attempt on his life was foiled yesterday during a sizable assembly in the nation’s capital, Caracas.

Two armed guys were getting ready to carry out the attempted assassination, Maduro clarified. He went on to say that after their detention, they admitted to belonging to the “Vente Venezuela” party, which he characterized as an extreme right-wing organization.

Furthermore, Caracas authorities arrested three individuals who carried explosive devices during the march, as part of the preparations for the upcoming presidential election on July 28, 2024.
