North Korea announces failed launch of spy satellite

North Korea has announced that its attempt to put a spy satellite into orbit has failed
The North Korean satellite exploded in mid-air on Monday evening.
Pyongyang’s National Aerospace Technology Administration reported that the Maligyeong-1-1 satellite exploded in the atmosphere in the first stage of take-off and the launch failed.
This came hours after Seoul and Tokyo criticised Pyongyang’s announcement that it would go ahead with the launch.
