The Russian news agency TASS quoted Kremlin foreign policy adviser Yuri Ushakov as telling reporters that a visit to Moscow by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas had been agreed.
Ushakov added that the dates of the visit had been agreed with the Palestinian president, but the Russian official did not provide any additional information on the date of the visit, according to TASS.
Abbas was due to visit Russia in November last year, but the visit was postponed at the request of the Palestinian side.
