The Ras Ajdir crossing is witnessing final preparations for reopening after a three-month closure.

The Ras Ajdir border crossing between Tunisia and Libya is currently a focal point, as the Ministry of Interior in the Temporary National Unity Government announced Monday morning preparations to reopen it after a three-month closure.
This step follows maintenance and development work carried out at the crossing, coinciding with the signing of a security agreement between the two countries to officially reopen it for the movement of individuals and vehicles.
Several previous attempts to reopen the Ras Ajdir crossing between Tunisia and Libya had been made, but this time, current efforts between both sides have succeeded in rehabilitating and reopening the crossing after it remained closed for three months.
