Four Western countries announced on Tuesday that they will impose sanctions on Iran for supporting Russia and “sending” ballistic missiles to Moscow.
The governments of France, Germany and Britain strongly condemn Iran’s transfer of ballistic missiles to Russia and will impose sanctions on Iran’s airline, Iran Air, as a result, the German Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The three countries said in a joint statement released by the ministry: “This is an act of escalation by Iran and Russia that poses a direct threat to European security.
