At least four workers were killed and ten others injured in an explosion at a gas field under construction in Uzbekistan on Tuesday, officials said on Wednesday.
Four specialists were killed and 11 others injured” in the accident near Poisson (south), the state agency OZA said.
The accident follows an explosion in the same field on 1 September, which released deadly hydrogen sulphide gas for two weeks. Some 7,000 people are working on the construction of the gas and chemical complex.
