Al Jazeera announced that Israeli forces stormed its office in Ramallah on Sunday morning, closing it for 45 days under a military order.
Israeli soldiers informed the office director, Walid Al-Omari, of the decision and forced the crew to leave the building, confiscating its contents. During a live broadcast, the Israeli forces were seen entering the office, with one member asking the director to disconnect the cameras and leave immediately.
The forces also sent trucks to confiscate filming and broadcasting equipment, preventing the crew from taking any personal equipment or vehicles. Additionally, the Israeli forces accused the Al Jazeera office of aiding and inciting terrorism.
