Hezbollah Confirms the Death of Leader Mohammed Sarour

Hezbollah confirmed on Thursday evening the death of leader Mohammed Sarour, just hours after the Israeli army announced his assassination in an airstrike in the southern suburbs of Beirut. Sarour was the head of the drone unit within the organization.
In a statement, the party mourned “the martyr, the fighter leader Mohammed Hussein Sarour,” who “ascended as a martyr on the path to Jerusalem.
This phrase is often used by the party to eulogize its members killed by Israeli fire since the escalation between the two sides began about a year ago.
