Saudi foreign minister announces ‘international coalition’ for Palestinian statehood

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan announced at dawn Friday an “international coalition” for the establishment of a Palestinian state and the implementation of the two-state solution.

This came at a ministerial meeting on the Palestinian issue and peace efforts held on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

In his speech to the UN General Assembly, the Saudi Foreign Minister announced the launch of the International Coalition for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution.
This comes as the Zionist occupation’s genocidal war on Gaza continues for almost a year, and as the Zionist aggression on Lebanon continues, raising fears of a full-scale war in the region.
