Iranian Foreign Ministry: No Troops Will Be Sent to Lebanon or Gaza

The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced on Monday that it will not send fighters to Lebanon or Gaza to confront Israel, two days after the assassination of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.
Spokesman Nasser Kanani stated that the governments of Lebanon and Palestine are capable of facing Israeli aggression without the need for Iranian forces.
Iran also requested an emergency meeting of the Security Council following Nasrallah’s death, calling for immediate actions to stop the Israeli aggression and prevent further escalation of the situation.
