Emirates Airlines has announced a ban on the transport of paging and wireless communication devices on its flights after the Israeli attacks in Lebanon, alongside an extension of the suspension of flights to the Middle East.

The airline clarified that Dubai Police will confiscate any such devices found in passengers’ carry-on or checked luggage.

Explosions targeting devices held by Hezbollah members in September resulted in the deaths of 37 people and approximately three thousand injuries.
