The United Nations Population Fund reported today, Tuesday, that Ukraine’s population has decreased by more than ten million people since the onset of the Russian invasion in February 2022, according to figures from Ukrainian authorities.

During a press briefing in Geneva, the regional director of the fund, Florence Buisson, noted that this significant decline is attributed to a range of factors.
