The Afghan police reported on Thursday that a bomber carrying a bomb in a bag resulted in the death of a child and the injury of 11 others in a market in the capital, Kabul.

The attack occurred on Wednesday afternoon in the Pamir Cinema area, where police spokesman Khalid Zadran indicated that the explosion was caused by explosives carried by the attacker.

On another note, the Italian organization “Emergency” stated that the explosion took place in a second-hand clothing market as its doors were opening and people were gathering to enter.
