The Saudi Football Federation announced on Saturday the return of French coach Hervé Renard to lead the national team, following a mutual separation from Italian coach Roberto Mancini.

The Saudi national team’s account shared a video on the platform X featuring Renard, in which he stated: “I did not intend to leave, but when your country knocks on your door, you must respond.”

This marks Renard’s second stint with the Saudi national team, as he previously managed the Green Falcons from 2019 to 2023. During that time, he oversaw 41 matches in World Cup qualifiers and the Gulf Cup, achieving 20 wins, 10 draws, and 11 losses.
