Beijing has decided to grant visa waivers to nine more countries to encourage more travel, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said on Friday.
Lin said China will extend the visa-free policy to ordinary passport holders from: Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein and the Republic of Korea (South Korea) on a trial basis.
The exemption policy will be implemented between 8 November 2024 and 31 December 2025, the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson added. Ordinary passport holders from these nine countries will be able to enter and stay in China for up to 15 days for business, tourism, family visits and transit.
