A report supported by the United Nations pointed out that the specter of famine is threatening the northern Gaza Strip due to the escalation of the war and the halt of food aid deliveries.

The report confirmed that the likelihood of famine has become high due to the rapid deterioration of the situation, with famine thresholds being surpassed or approached.

The committee also predicted that the number of people facing catastrophic food insecurity would reach 345,000 between November 2024 and April 2025, reflecting a tragic level of hunger and malnutrition.
