Qatar’s Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, has announced a cabinet reshuffle involving several ministerial positions.
Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani was appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, while Buthaina Al Jabr Al Nuaimi transitioned to the Ministry of Social Development, with Lolwah Al Khater assuming the role of Minister of Education.
As part of the same reshuffle, Mansour Al Mahmoud was named Minister of Health, Faisal Al Thani became Minister of Commerce and Industry, and Mohammed Al Thani was appointed Minister of Transportation.
This marks the second cabinet reshuffle this year, following a previous one earlier in the year that involved changes to five ministerial portfolios.
