The Sudanese Armed Forces announced on Sunday the death of 150 members of the Rapid Support Forces in a battle southeast of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur.

The leadership of the Sixth Infantry Division reported significant progress, with the armed forces having taken control of several militia bases. No comment has been issued by the Rapid Support Forces.

This comes amid a bloody conflict that has been ongoing since April 2023, resulting in more than 24,850 deaths and the displacement of over 14 million people.
