China Telecom Gulf was officially launched in Riyadh today Thursday , according to an official statement.
The launch marks a milestone in the company’s participation in the Belt and Road Initiative and a strong step forward in the company’s international expansion.
The company aims to use world-class ICT to support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, contribute to the diversification of the Saudi economy and enhance national competitiveness.
The company is committed to working closely with the government, businesses and partners in Saudi Arabia to contribute to the development of the local digital infrastructure.

On the sidelines of the launch ceremony, China Telecom Africa and Middle East Limited and Saudi Telecom Company (STC) held a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
According to the MoU, the two parties will deepen their cooperation in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) and combine their respective advantages to provide customers in Saudi Arabia with a more optimised and convenient IoT connectivity experience.
