The Joint Forces of the Armed Movements in Sudan reported seizing a large shipment of military supplies intended for the “Rapid Support Forces,” including advanced weapons, four-wheel-drive vehicles, as well as African and Colombian mercenaries on the Sudanese border with Libya and Chad.
Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Hussein Mustafa confirmed that the operation took place in the tri-border area of Sudan, Libya, and Chad, resulting in the confiscation of heavy weapons and ammunition, including arms belonging to the UAE Armed Forces.
The Joint Forces considered the entry of these weapons to be a violation of UN Security Council resolutions, calling on the international community to take action against countries supporting the Rapid Support Forces militias.
