On Wednesday, elected President Donald Trump announced the appointment of former General Keith Kellogg as special envoy to Ukraine and Russia.

Kellogg, a former Chief of Staff for the National Security Council, will focus on resolving the conflict by freezing current battle lines and compelling Kyiv and Moscow to negotiate.
