Hezbollah Declares “Great Victory” in War Against Israeli Occupation

Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem announced that the party has achieved a “great victory” in its war against Israeli occupation, in his first televised address since the ceasefire took effect after months of mutual attacks and battles.

Qassem stated, “I have decided to officially and clearly announce that we are facing a great victory that surpasses the victory of July 2006.”

He added, “We won because we prevented the enemy from destroying Hezbollah; we won because we stopped them from ending or weakening the resistance to a point where it could not act.”

These remarks come at a sensitive time, reflecting the ongoing tensions and challenges faced by Hezbollah in the current regional context.
