On Friday morning, the “Ariel” settlement in the northern West Bank witnessed a shooting attack targeting an Israeli bus and a police patrol, resulting in nine Israeli settlers being injured, three of whom are reported to be in serious condition.
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility for the attack.
According to Israeli broadcasting authorities, the assailant has been identified as 46-year-old Samer Hussein from the village of Einabus, south of Nablus.
