Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Monday that Western countries are seeking to achieve a ceasefire in Ukraine in order to rearm Kyiv with advanced weapons.
Lavrov explained during a meeting with his Hungarian counterpart, Peter Szijjártó, in Moscow, that Western allies of Ukraine are promoting a ceasefire to give Ukraine a break and enable the supply of long-range weapons, which he views as not a true solution for peace.
