German Chancellor Olaf Scholz made an unannounced visit to Kyiv on Monday to reaffirm Germany’s continued support for Ukraine in the face of the Russian war.
In a post on the platform “X,” Scholz mentioned that he arrived in Kyiv by train, praising Ukraine’s resilience in defending itself against the ongoing Russian aggression for over a thousand days.
