Trump Seeks to Overturn His Conviction, Citing Biden’s Pardon of Son Hunter

Former President Donald Trump has used the pardon granted by Biden to his son Hunter as a basis for his request to overturn his conviction in the bribery case.

His lawyers submitted a request to a Manhattan judge, arguing that the case is politically motivated and citing Biden’s statements regarding Hunter’s trial.

In May, Trump became the first former U.S. president to be convicted on criminal charges after being found guilty of 34 counts related to falsifying business records.

He denies all charges and considers the case a political targeting.
