Former President Donald Trump stated that “the United States should stay away from the conflict in Syria; the fight there is not its battle.”

He added that the Syrian opposition is making significant progress in overthrowing President Bashar al-Assad, noting that Russia is unable to halt the opposition’s advance due to its involvement in the war in Ukraine.

He pointed out that the situation in Syria remains chaotic and that “the United States should leave things as they are without intervention.”
