Thousands gathered in a massive protest in the French capital, Paris, on Saturday, supporting Palestine and opposing the attendance of newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump at the reopening ceremony of Notre Dame Cathedral.
Organized by leftist parties, unions, and pro-Palestinian groups, demonstrators carried Palestinian flags and keffiyehs, chanting slogans in support of Palestine.
They also criticized French President Emmanuel Macron, calling for his isolation over what they described as Trump’s complicity in Middle Eastern conflicts.
