UNICEF: 500,000 Children in Yemen Need Treatment for Severe Malnutrition

According to a report by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), millions of children in Yemen are facing dire humanitarian conditions.
Around 500,000 children need treatment for severe malnutrition, while 4.5 million children struggle to access education.
Additionally, 7.4 million children require protection from child labor and child marriage. Furthermore, 17.8 million people, including 9.8 million children, lack urgent humanitarian aid.
The ongoing war and climate change contribute to the spread of diseases and economic crises, further exacerbating the suffering of the population under these challenging circumstances.
