Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appeared in a Tel Aviv court on Tuesday facing charges related to bribery, corruption, and fraud, becoming the first prime minister in Israel’s history to face criminal charges.

During the court session, Netanyahu denied all the accusations against him, describing them as “a sea of nonsense” driven by political motives.

If convicted, he could face penalties of several years in prison, jeopardizing his political future.
