World Cup 2030, Held in Morocco, Spain, and Portugal with 3 Matches in South America

FIFA confirmed today, Wednesday, that the 2030 World Cup will take place in Morocco, Spain, and Portugal, with three South American countries hosting one match each.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino announced the decision during an extraordinary conference, stating that “the transfer of football to more countries will not diminish quality, but will enhance opportunity.”

The tournament will kick off with matches in Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first edition in 1930, while Morocco, Spain, and Portugal will host all other matches.
